TMJ Treatment
What is TMJ?
TMJ disorders affect the jaw joints and surrounding muscles, often causing jaw pain, headaches, clicking sounds, or difficulty opening and closing the mouth. Stress, clenching, grinding, bite imbalance, and injury can all contribute to TMJ discomfort.

How does treatment start?
Your evaluation begins with a detailed discussion of symptoms and a careful assessment of jaw movement and bite alignment. Treatment may include targeted exercises, stress management strategies, bite adjustments, or a custom mouthguard to reduce nighttime clenching. Additionally, we may refer out to a physiotherapist or give neuromodulated medication (i.e., Botox)
How can early treatment help?
Addressing TMJ symptoms early helps prevent worsening discomfort and protects your teeth from excessive wear. Many patients find relief with conservative, non-invasive therapies tailored to their specific needs.
